God is in control, but does not control us!

Pretty surreal feeling knowing that God is in control, yet does not control us!

The free will He has given us is something that we all struggle with. If God would control us, the relationship would only be one sided!

That is the thing about God, He desires us to CHOOSE HIM, to put Him first, to rid ourselves of things that are keeping the consistency of the relationship at the top.

When we do wrong, we often think more of the way people label us for our wrongdoings, then how God sees us.

1 Samuel 16:7 - But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”

Luke 6:45 A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.

So the battle is in who has control of your heart, Are you willing to JUST LET GO of what you have held on to for so long! Are you willing to JUST LET GO of the struggle that you go back to, when you feel overwhelmed, or something that you have fought for so long.

I am a work in progress, at lunch yesterday, I brought something up to my wife of an area that I am wanting to give over to God, but sometimes what God wants us to do is discuss our life with others, and who better than your spouse!

So whatever it is, GIVE IT OVER, LET IT GO, will it come back, maybe, but let GOD work on your heart and I think if He formed us, He loves us enough to work with us, and not label us as some do.

And for those of us that state we are followers of Christ, STOP LABELING, and enter the conversation with people in love. Accountability is awesome, when it with the motive of loving, and yes, some constructive teaching.

I am no better than you, and you do not say if I go to Heaven, so let's walk this crap out together, and figure out how to LOVE BETTER!
